Rugby Tours to Amsterdam

For clubs both men's and women's rugby teams(and this includes university teams), rugby tours to Amsterdam are a dream.

It's fair to say, this destination favours the social tour but can also deliver some nice surprises.

It's famous for its red light district but you may consider a canal boat trip to see Amsterdam's gorgeous architecture, a visit (or several visits) to quaint and quiet bars, or the culturally brave might try Amsterdam's great museums.

There is of course the Heineken Brewery and Ajax's stadium, clogs & cheese (great trips) and Anne Frank's House.

Senior & University Tours

From a rugby point of view, the focus in Amsterdam itself is on senior and university clubs.

Many fixtures, however, will be outside the city. Rotterdam, Den Haag and Leiden are all easily reached from Amsterdam and this casts the net wider to find a club most suitable to your level.

Leiden hosts a great club rugby tournament each Easter to which we send many teams each year.

Whilst the emphasis is on social rugby, winning the tournament would require some hardy dedication.

School Rugby Tours

For schools, you may want simply to visit Amsterdam and stay at less well known but charming resorts on the coast at Noordwijk or Scheveningen.
