Football

Football (soccer) is the most widely played sport in Europe so most countries will be welcoming hosts for your group.

In our experience, the UK, Holland, Spain and Italy would be our first choice destinations. You may wish to enjoy just one or two at a time to manage the budget and travel times.

In addition to the matches and coaching sessions we organise for your team, you may want to visit Ajax Stadium, the Bernabeu, Wembley, Camp Neu or watch a Serie A or Premiership match. We can help with all these arrangements (assuming availability at the time of booking).

Rugby

Sweet Chariot, as the name suggests, has specialised in rugby tours for more than 15 years, having organised thousands of tours across Europe and worldwide. We include teams as customers such as Stellenbosch University from South Africa, Buenos Aires Cricket & Rugby Club from Argentina, Keri Keri RFC from New Zealand, West Point Ladies RFC from the USA, Grey Highlands School from Canada amongst hundreds of others.

Consequently, we have excellent contacts throughout the rugby world (clubs, schools and universities) not just in the UK but in France, Spain, Italy, and the rest of Europe. Please contact us with your initial thoughts and we can begin to establish the best tour to Europe for your group.

Hockey

If you’re coming to Europe to play Hockey, our suggesion would be ‘two centre’ stay in the UK and Holland. If you have a coach with your throughout your tour it is easy to catch the ferry across to Calais and head to Amsterdam from there.

These two countries will provide excellent facilities and competition but you may also want to extend your tour to Belgium or France or even Ireland or Jersey in the Channel Islands. You will find a warm welcome in each destination and we will organise as many matches and training sessions as you require, along with cultural attractions for your ‘down time’.

Netball

If you are coming to Europe to play Netball, the best idea is to base yourself in the UK for your entire trip. The Netball community in England especially is very strong with Wales and Scotland also playing the sport.

If you would like to take in another country on your Netball Tour, you could easily fly to the beautiful Channel Island of Jersey and continue your tour there, as you could on the Mediterranean island of Malta. Both islands have excellent netball facilities and the schools and clubs will give you a warm welcome.

If your group is aged between ten and eighteen years old, we have tournaments in Jersey and Malta that will be an excellent solutions. Please see the ‘Tournaments’ section.
