This tour is about learning from new coaches in a new environment.
It is also about performing at amazing venues. Everyone involved in the week’s rehearsals will work towards ‘First Night’, held before an audience at a castle on the coast, a heritage site, a church or at the chateau’s own concert hall.
A week at Chateau Vermont is a wonderful opportunity to work with new musicians students, as well as experienced and professional teachers and coaches, all on site. The week culminates in a performance at an amazing venue. Everyone involved in the week’s rehearsals will work towards ‘First Night’, held before an audience at a castle on the coast, a heritage site, a church, or the chateau’s own concert hall.
We supply local coaches from Jersey Academy of Music or local Drama Schools, as well as local accompanists for rehearsals and concerts. We will combine all of this with excursions and superb experiences Jersey has to offer.

The Channel Islands were the only part of Britain to have been occupied by German forces in World War II. Explore unique wartime history and see the traces the five-year-long occupation, from concrete defences, bunkers and fortifications, to a network of underground tunnels.
Students can also learn about Jersey’s prehistory, The Hundred Years War, castle and fortress building, the Napoleonic Wars and World War I.

At just 9 miles by 5 miles, but with over 40 miles of coastline, Jersey really is a Geographer’s and Geologer’s dream.
Of course we don’t need to spell out Jersey’s Precambrian to Lower Palaeozoic rock types varying from shales and sandstones, through to andesites and minor basalts, flow-banded and spherulitic rhyolites, but now is your chance to study them in situ.
